The best patented invention?
In my opinion the best patented invention is an object called Hex Egger.
What's that? A small instrument that turns a hardboiled egg into a cube. At first sight it can look stupid to choose such an object since there is little difference between a round egg and a cubic one, except, for instance, to decorate a dish. Why is it so important then? Simply because each time you have a glance at such an unexpected thing 1. You see the world differently, which can help you invent other (useful or unuseful) things 2. You smile. What is more important than smiling, than feeling happy? (If you have an answer to this fundamental question, it would deserve to be...patented)
